Sabbatical

Well I have clearly taken a sabbatical from writing, and we have also taken a sabbatical from running. Brian's knee has been bothering him, but he has an appointment on Monday to get that looked at, and I have just been too tired everyday after work. Work has been wearing me out mentally, so that when I get home, I just want to rest. So, hopefully we can get started again next week.

What we haven't taken a sabbatical from is doing stuff! We started our Financial Peace Class this semester, did an extra extended preview of Financial Peace for students, gave a talk on communication for the pre-cana class on campus, went to an awesome Italian Festival that the University had tonight, watched an intramural football game, and most importantly...went to a Notre Dame football game!

We celebrated Brian's birthday early this year and I took him to a Notre Dame Football game! He is a bit of a fanatic! We had a blast! It rained most of the day and through about half the game, but it was totally worth it! It was an awesome game!! They kicked Michigan's butt!

We got to see some good friends and just had an all around good time!! I look forward to our next journey to Notre Dame! See some pictures below. The blonde is Jimmy Clausen, ND's QB. The statue is Knute Rockne, was a past football coach at ND, and everyone rubs his nose for good luck, hence the shiney nose!
