One year...

It is hard to believe that Brian and I have been married for one year!! At times it feels like it has been just a few months and at times it feels like it has been much longer than a year.

It has been a great year! Ya know you hear so many people say that "the first year is the hardest," well if that is the truth then we have easy sailing for the years to come...because this was a great year! We have so many good memories, even though some of them have a sad story with in them, such as the loss of our little Therese Maria, but in all of it we have grown closer and more in love all year long.

We spent our anniversary at a great bed and breakfast up in Northern New Jersey
www.glenwoodmill.com. It was an absolute delight and would love to go back there and spend more time. We actually had a whirlwind time away. We went to South Jersey for friend's wedding on Saturday, then went up to NYC all day Sunday....Statue of Liberty, Little Italy, Time's Square, St. Patricks, Rockerfeller Center, Ground Zero and back to Little Italy. Then we headed up to my Aunt Misssy and Uncle Jeff's for the night. They have a great house about an hour north of the city in a beautiful area!!! Then on Monday we headed back down south, a short drive through Central Park, a visit with our friend Maria in NJ, and then off to head towards the bed and breakfast.

We stopped for mass at a quaint little church....ironically called Immaculate Conception, same church we got married in, and then headed out to dinner. We had one of the best filet's either of us have ever had!

We then arrived at the Bed and Breakfast. It was great!!! It was an old restored mill, with a lot of the mill things still in place. I will post pics soon.

We headed back today, taking our time to take pictures and buy apples at a cute little market. I will post pics of these too....even stopped at another type of market that was selling some big 'ol pumpkins...I took more pics of course! =)

I love you Brian Meier! Happy Anniversary!
