I DID IT!!!!! It was amazing! 3:32:35 according to official race time. (minus 8 minutes if you count the time I had to wait in line for the port-o-potty!!!

Rachael Meier! You are our new hero - Mamma Marathoner!!! We're so excited for you, and have been waiting since we finished yesterday and since we knew you must have finished to hear news! Congratulations!
It was great to 'run' with you here - JM and I had a good race, running in really nice weather here - cloudy with light showers - not too hot. Our run was smooth - the only glitch was a bad blister for me - but that didn't bother me until mile 12, thankfully. My wonderful husband stayed with me the whole time! We had a lot of fun, and since we had a sitter - we felt like it was kind of a date. :)
Leo had a conniption when we got home - feeling abandoned for the entire 1 1/2 of awake time that he had with our friend, Ham, his sitter. He calmed down though after about an hour, and we all took naps together yesterday afternoon.
Can't wait to hear more about your race, but in the meantime, enjoy the accomplishment and rest your tired bones!!! Love, Liz, JM, and Leo
