I went out for a short run yesterday to loosen up a bit, and it was not a pretty sight! Kristi and I went out for a 2 mile run, and I was in a lot of pain!! I was hurting pretty bad this morning as I tried to walk down the stairs and walk period!
My leg pain was back and wasn't subsiding! I made my way back to the chiropractor and pleaded with him to make it all better! He gave me a look, that basically said "I don't know how much I can help you?" He did an adjustment and immediatley my leg started to feel better. He reminded me to proceed with caution and stay well hydrated during the race.
I left the office a little deflated....praying...."Lord, I have come so far, I really want to be able to finish this race on Sunday!" I know that I need to trust in the Lord and proceed with caution. "Lord give me the ears to hear you! Lord please hear my desire to be able to do this race!"
I came home after work and took a nap on the couch. I woke up and actually felt great!! My leg is doing really good!!! I will continue to take it easy until Sunday!
Oh and we are also praying for good weather!
