Is Drooling Appropriate?

Or professional for that matter?! So a the family that we live with is great! We get along great with them and have lots of fun! The husband was thinking about buying a camera, and over casual conversation one evening he mentioned he was looking into buying the new Nikon D700. (Mind you I didn't even know that this camera existed, and mind you I DO NOW!) Again, casually we said, well, hey if you want to get it before next weekend, maybe I could test it out for you as I have a wedding to shoot! (or something to that effect). Well, he called me the next day as he was leaving the camera store, with said camera in tow, along with two fabulous lenses! One of which, I have been told is the one of cream of the crop lens to have for a wedding.

So, as I headed off to the rehearsal tonight, with said camera in my tow, I was pretty excited to put this camera to use. It worked great in the low lighting of the church. Because I can't use a flash, I need to bump up the ISO and even at a high ISO the shots come out with not much grain at all.

I am soo excited to see how these images turn out tomorrow! You can be sure to check back here for full results.

So, again, I ask the question, is drooling over a camera appropriate or professional? I am guessing, not! So, I will leave the drooling to my son. (Who I happened to take just a FEW shots of tonight at the rehearsal...how could i resist this face!?)
