Life's Lens: Southern Indiana Wedding Photographer: Jordan and Carl's Wedding

I immediately liked Jordan the moment I met her at a Indy Wedding Ideas Bridal show last fall. When we found out that I was already booked for her wedding date, we were both very bummed out! We decided to still meet with her fiance, Carl, and I tried and tried and tried to get them to change their date. I almost had them....but a family member could only make it for the original date of April 12....so alas, I was not able to be their wedding photographer. I had such a great time meeting with these two! We laughed, we found out how much we had in common, we laughed some more!

They wanted me to do their engagement session and I couldn't turn them down for that, so I did their engagement session this past fall and we had a blast with that! As I got to thinking, I was not ready to let this couple go! I just loved them! Then it dawned on me, I can hire another photographer to shoot their wedding and I will do a separate bridal session for them and do all their editing, album, etc. I didn't have to say goodbye to them! This made me happy, and they were happy, too!

So, I contacted my friend and photographer who shot my sister's wedding, and she was up for it! Claire did a great job capturing all the love of their wedding day! They got married in Mitchell, IN at her parents house. It was a beautiful day for a wedding. I know everyone was praying for no rain, as it was an outdoor affair and their prayers were answered!
