Southern Indiana Wedding Photographer: Jordan and Carl's Wedding

I immediately liked Jordan the moment I met her at a Indy Wedding Ideas Bridal show last fall.  When we found out that I was already booked for her wedding date, we were both very bummed out!  We decided to still meet with her fiance, Carl, and I tried and tried and tried to get them to change their date.  I almost had them....but a family member could only make it for the original date of April 12....so alas, I was not able to be their wedding photographer.  I had such a great time meeting with these two!  We laughed, we found out how much we had in common, we laughed some more!

They wanted me to do their engagement session and I couldn't turn them down for that, so I did their engagement session this past fall and we had a blast with that!  As I got to thinking, I was not ready to let this couple go!  I just loved them! Then it dawned on me, I can hire another photographer to shoot their wedding and I will do a separate bridal session for them and do all their editing, album, etc.  I didn't have to say goodbye to them! This made me happy, and they were happy, too!

So, I contacted my friend and photographer who shot my sister's wedding, and she was up for it!  Claire did a great job capturing all the love of their wedding day!  They got married in Mitchell, IN at her parents house. It was a beautiful day for a wedding. I know everyone was praying for no rain, as it was an outdoor affair and their prayers were answered!

Cincinnati Wedding Photographer: Veronica + Chris Thornberry

I was excited to shoot this wedding for over a year and the closer it got, the more excited I got.
 #1 I love FALL!! (of course that is when I got married, too!)
 #2 I love fun, simple, country, old barns...I could keep going!
 The wedding was held at a place called The Fling Barn...LOVE!
#3 I love the couple--Veronica and Chris are so much fun, so in love, and their story warms my heart!

So, clearly I couldn't take enough pictures of this wedding, and I have a "few" to show you!  I added a few comments as well.

Love this sign they made. It now hangs in their house!

Simple, rustic, shabby chic centerpieces!  The favors were mason jars that doubled as our drink cups for the evening

We had beautiful morning light, and I had fun with it.  We might have taken some"For His Eyes Only" shots

They got married under two huge oak trees. It was so beautiful!

The best part of this picture is Wyatt hugging his new step brother as their parents seal the deal!

This guy is one of the sweetest little dudes I know! And he sure loves his Mama!

I am not sure what I love  more about this shot....Veronica's look on her face or the rusty truck in the background!

Her sisters sang their wedding song...sweet!

Veronica's dad brought the Chinese lanterns and it was really fun to let them go at the end of the night.  What was even cooler was that they formed a "T" in the sky as they floated away....Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Thornberry!!
