Good Sportsmanship!

I don't know a whole lot about her yet, I have done a little reading, and seen her in a few TV interviews, and her interaction during the games, but I must say, I am really impressed with the Sportsmanship of Dara Torres, the 41 year old Olympic swimmer. Not only is she WAY impressive, because she is 41 years old and kicking the butts of swimmers less than half her age, but she is such a great encouragement to not only her team members, but to her competitors. I see how encouraging and supporting she is to her fellow swimmers. After years of playing sports, and all the competition between teams, especially rival teams, it is so good to see that people understand that you can still be friendly with your competitors. She said something like, in the pool they are her competition, but out of the pool, they are still her friends. So, good!
