Big Announcement!

I am so excited to announce that after many hours of work and editing I have a new website!

I have been wanting to get this done for awhile and while I was at the WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) Convention in Las Vegas this past year I bought an account with a new web company that had everything I was looking for all in one place.  This gave me not only the opportunity to give my website a facelift, but to give my portfolio a facelift as well and add some new elements that I had been wanting to add but had been putting off.

So, I am excited to share my new site with you and I hope you will take some time to take a look...grab a cup of coffee and enjoy some moments with some blushing brides, smiling babies, joy filled families and more!  Then maybe as you are oooing and awing over their pictures you may get the inspired to have your family portraits done, or you know someone who just had a baby that would love to be a part of my Heartbeat Club.  Maybe you just got engaged and have been looking for that perfect photographer to be storyteller for your special day...look no more, you found her! 

So as a new website special I am offering a 10% discount to anyone who books a portrait session or books a wedding in the month of August.  (Session doesn't have to occur in August, but you have to get in touch with me in August to schedule a session or book a wedding.)

Fishers and Cleveland Portrait Photography: Spring Sneak Peeks

I have had a ton of shoots in the last few weeks and therefore have spent several hours in front of my computer editing these adorable faces, smilles, giggles and baby preciousness! So as my clients wait for their viewing session meetings, I wanted to share a few of the images now, because if they are anything like me they are dying to see them!

You see, we just had our family pictures done last week. It is always good to be on the other side of the camera every once in awhile as well as on the other side of the waiting! I now know how my clients feel about having to wait to see their images. My friend and photographer who took pictures for us said she would have the images ready in about a week...but of course I stalked her Facebook page daily until she posted some sneak peeks! I was soo excited to see them and now I am so excited to see the rest!

So, the overall experience has taught me a few things of being a good subject in front of the camera as well as being an excited, but maybe slightly impatient customer waiting to see my images! It reminds me that my customers might be a lot like me and it encourages me to post sneak peeks and get editing done ASAP!

Indianapolis Newborn Photographer: Sweet Naomi

I love photographing sweet, squishy babies!  I have had a few baby girls to photograph lately and I have been loving it!!  It is no secret that my husband I really want a daughter.  We of course love our boys to pieces and we hope to give them a sister some day.

This is sweet Naomi, daughter of Shannon and Brian.  She was a little fussy at first, being her first professional photoshoot and all.   I was glad to know I had not lost my touch in rocking a baby to sleep, as I swaddled her right up and had her asleep in no time.  Then I could take as many pictures of her as I wanted.

Naomi is an honored member of my Heartbeat Cub which means I will be capturing her precious face for the first year of her life (Newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 1 year) and she will receive a book at the end of all her favorite images. (ok her parents favorite images, but they will be her favorite too when she is old enough to appreciate them).  If you are interested in being a member of my Heartbeat Club, send me an email and let's capture the cuteness of your loved ones!

Sneak Peek of an itty bitty!

It's been a few months since I did a babyshoot, and I gotta be honest it might have given me a little baby fever!!  This little guy,  James, is a cutie patootie!!  So excited for first time parents Kariane and Steven!  Here is one of my favorites from his session.  More to come soon!!
